GumGum Launches AI Tool for Advertiser Campaign Briefs

GumGum, a company focused on advertising technology, has launched a new AI-powered tool named Mindset Agent. This tool converts advertiser campaign briefs into custom audience segments that can be reviewed and activated by brands and agencies. The Trade Desk is the first platform where the Mindset Agent can be utilized.

The Mindset Agent is integrated into GumGum's redesigned client platform, Mindset Portal. This portal consolidates a suite of AI tools offering insights into predictive attention, context, creative elements, and performance, aiming to streamline the process from strategic planning to activation.

GumGum's Mindset Graph technology processes vast amounts of data, including contextual signals, creative content, and audience behavior patterns. It identifies environments that are meaningfully aligned with an advertiser's objectives. The Mindset Agent provides users of The Trade Desk with direct access to this capability.

Users upload a brief to the portal, after which the AI suggests targeting queries. Users can review why specific environments are suitable for the campaign and balance reach with relevance. The resulting custom segments can then be activated within The Trade Desk. GumGum aims to automate ad targeting and provide a more dynamic view of consumer mindsets across the open internet.

Jay Goebel of The Trade Desk stated the tool helps advertisers make decisions based on real-time signals and business objectives. Daniel Glynn from The HEINEKEN Company noted that understanding mindset is a more accurate way to consider relevance. Marcus Startzel, CEO of GumGum, emphasized that AI should assist brands in making better decisions about where, when, and how to appear.
