Gunvor rebrands as Centalion, plans headquarters move to Singapore

Gunvor Group Ltd, an energy trading company, has announced its rebranding to Centalion Group Ltd and plans to move its headquarters from Cyprus to Singapore. The decision by the company's owner partners aims to reflect its evolution under a new partnership structure, leadership model, and strategic outlook.

The new name, Centalion, signifies the company's team and its collective development in the global energy market. Gary Pedersen, Centalion's Chairman and CEO, described the rebranding as a step forward from a position of strength, further solidifying its role among leading physical energy and metals traders.

The relocation of the headquarters to Singapore is supported by the country's established legal and commercial frameworks, robust financial and trading infrastructure, and its international business community. The company has maintained a presence in Singapore since 2006. Trading offices will remain in Geneva, Switzerland, and Houston, Texas, where CEO Pedersen is based.

The name change and rebranding follow the company's development since its management buyout in December 2025. It enhances the company's trading activities across energy sectors, including crude oil, refined products, natural gas and LNG, power and battery storage, biofuels, and carbon credits. Additionally, the company is expanding into metals and minerals, international shipping, and increasing investments in gas and power infrastructure globally.

Centalion achieved record revenues in the first half of 2026, employing over 2000 people worldwide. The company continues to expand its operations across its trading hubs in Calgary, Geneva, Houston, London, Singapore, and Stamford.
