Gunvor Rebrands as Centalion, Plans Singapore Relocation
Energy and metals trading firm Gunvor Group Ltd has rebranded as Centalion Group Ltd. The company also intends to redomicile its corporate headquarters from Cyprus to Singapore.

Gunvor Group Ltd, a major player in energy and metals trading, has officially rebranded as Centalion Group Ltd. The company also announced its intention to relocate its corporate headquarters from Cyprus to Singapore. These changes signify an evolution in ownership structure, leadership, and future strategy.
According to Gary Pedersen, Centalion's Chairman and CEO, the new name "Centalion reflects who we are: one team, moving together, at the heart of the global energy markets." He added that the move is being made from a position of strength, highlighting the company's growth as a physical energy and metals trader.
The planned redomicile to Singapore, where Centalion has had a presence since 2006, is supported by the city-state's robust legal framework, financial infrastructure, and international business environment. The company's primary trading hubs will remain in Singapore, Geneva, and Houston.
The rebranding and proposed relocation are part of Centalion's strategic evolution following a management buyout in December 2025. The company stated that its legal status, contracts, and obligations remain unchanged, and the redomicile to Singapore is subject to regulatory approvals.
