HanAll F&B files patent for rice noodle production method

South Korean food manufacturer HanAll F&B Farming Association Corporation has filed a patent for a new method of producing rice noodles. The company is focusing its production efforts on utilizing domestically sourced rice to improve quality and supply chain stability.

The development of this process spanned three years, during which the firm utilized approximately six tons of rice flour for experimental trials. This research was aimed at overcoming common manufacturing challenges associated with rice-based dough, such as texture and elasticity.

Moving forward, HanAll F&B intends to leverage this patented technology to diversify its product lineup into rice pasta and traditional Korean naengmyeon noodles. The company aims to strengthen its market presence as a domestic rice processor.
