Hankkija modernises agricultural input and retail ERP system with Digia
Agricultural market leader Hankkija has selected Digia as its partner to modernise all its agricultural input and brick-and-mortar business systems. The two-year contract is worth over EUR 2 million.

Hankkija Oy is undergoing a significant modernisation of its core business systems. The agricultural market leader has chosen Digia to implement a new solution covering its agricultural input, brick-and-mortar retail operations, financial management, and point-of-sale systems. The project will encompass all 54 of Hankkija's outlets.
The new system is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Commerce, a cloud-based solution. The goal is to create synergies across all business functions and enhance customer experience through seamless integration. This system upgrade aligns with the strategy of Hankkija's parent company, Danish Agron IT, and facilitates expansion into the group's international operations.
The modernised enterprise resource planning system will enable effective standardisation and automation of Hankkija's agricultural and retail trade processes, as well as its logistics. Operations will be managed based on real-time data, improving sales and customer experience while also supporting multi-channel customer service.
Preparations for the system modernisation project are underway between Hankkija and Digia, with implementation scheduled to begin in early 2024. The new system aims to be fully operational by the end of 2025. Hankkija Group reported net sales of approximately EUR 958 million in 2022 and employs around 1,000 professionals.
