Consumer electronics maker Hannspree has unveiled its second generation HANNSpad tablet series. The new Android-based devices utilize the company's proprietary touch screen technology, drawing on its parent company's global position as the third-largest touch screen manufacturer.
The new HANNSpad series aims to offer a competitive large-screen tablet portfolio. Hannspree's subsidiary, HannsTouch, handles the entire production chain, from touch modules and sensors to firmware and the LED glass panel, ensuring a fully integrated solution.
The first model, the HANNSpad SN1AT71, features a 10.1-inch IPS touch screen with 10-point multi-touch capability. Powered by a quad-core processor, the device includes HDMI connectivity and Bluetooth. Hannspree plans to release a 13.3-inch model soon.
The HANNSpad SN1AT71 is available for approximately £149.99 and comes with a two-year manufacturer's warranty.
