Hansa Biopharma has been selected to present findings from its Post-Authorization Efficacy and Safety (PAES) study of Idefirix (imlifidase) at the ASN Kidney Week conference in Denver, USA. The presentation is scheduled for the High-Impact Clinical Trials session.
The research evaluates the use of imlifidase in 50 patients who underwent kidney transplantation from deceased donors despite having a positive crossmatch. The therapy is designed to reduce donor-specific antibodies, enabling transplantation in highly sensitized patients who otherwise face limited clinical options.
This presentation scheduled for October 23 marks a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to demonstrate the drug’s performance in a real-world clinical setting. The results will provide further insight into the efficacy and safety profile of the therapy post-market authorization.
