Harbour BioMed Projects Seventh Consecutive Profitable Half-Year

Biopharmaceutical firm Harbour BioMed has issued a positive profit alert for the first half of 2026, marking its seventh consecutive profitable half-year. The company attributes its sustained profitability to its platform-based business model.

Preliminary figures suggest revenue for the six months ended June 30, 2026, will range between $120 million and $125 million, representing a 19% to 24% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Projected profit for the period is between $62 million and $67 million, with adjusted profit estimated at $70 million to $75 million.

Revenue growth is primarily driven by strategic collaborations with global pharmaceutical companies, including agreements with AstraZeneca and Bristol Myers Squibb. New out-licensing deals, such as with Solstice Oncology, and milestone payments from previously licensed programs also contributed significantly. Growth from its subsidiary, Nona Biosciences, in antibody discovery and transaction services added to the company's revenue.

"Our expected profitability in the first half of 2026 marks an important milestone in Harbour BioMed's development and strongly validates our differentiated business model," said CEO Jingsong Wang. He highlighted that strategic partnerships are validating the value of the company's proprietary technology platforms and creating a sustainable financial foundation.

Harbour BioMed has also integrated artificial intelligence into its drug discovery and development processes. This strategic focus is expected to further enhance the value of its technology platforms and accelerate the delivery of novel therapeutics to patients worldwide.
