Hardware startup Provision acquires Basilisk Industries
Perception hardware firm Provision has acquired Basilisk Industries to bolster its hardware development and post-processing capabilities.

Provision, a startup specializing in perception hardware, has completed the acquisition of Basilisk Industries. Following the transaction, Shourya Watwani has been appointed to lead the company’s hardware initiatives, with a specific focus on developing in-house post-processing models.
The integration of Basilisk Industries is expected to enhance Provision’s core technical offerings. The company operates in the hardware sector, providing systems designed to improve machine perception, a critical component for robotics and automated systems.
Provision previously secured US$7 million in seed funding in a round led by Cercano Management. This acquisition signals the company's intent to scale its operations and technical development following its initial funding phase.
