Hark Launches Hark Pro AI Assistant for Proactive Life Management
Startup Hark has released its Hark Pro AI application, designed to understand user needs and provide proactive assistance with daily tasks. The app accesses user online accounts to manage responsibilities and streamline personal organization.

Startup Hark has launched its new AI assistant, Hark Pro, aiming to differentiate itself through a proactive approach to user support. Unlike many existing AI tools focused on executing directed tasks, Hark Pro seeks to understand user needs and offer anticipatory help. The application is available in a limited free version and through paid subscriptions starting at $20 per month.
Hark Pro was developed by the startup Hark, founded by Brett Adcock, who also founded Archer Aviation and Figure. The application functions as an operating system for a user's life, leveraging access to email, calendars, and other online accounts to perform tasks such as ordering lunch, paying bills, and planning travel.
The assistant can proactively identify calendar conflicts and reschedule meetings, or make appointments, such as with a new dentist. It can also provide advance notice of potential issues, like a rental car at the wrong airport, and offer to resolve them. Hark Pro displays its actions in real-time within a small window in the chat log, a feature Adcock believes builds user trust.
Hark Pro features a customizable interface that acts as a digital dashboard, prioritizing daily tasks and problem-solving with action buttons for payments or bookings. While maintaining a primary conversational thread, the tool allows users to focus on longer-term projects within a dedicated "Projects" tab. The company has secured significant funding and recruited talent from major tech firms.
Adcock views Hark Pro as a personal intelligence tool poised to redefine personal computing for the AI era. The ultimate goal is for Hark to manage all computer-based activities for the user, reducing the need for direct interaction with traditional computing interfaces.
