Hartbeat Premieres Short Film 'Dash of a Lifetime' Following Prime Video Hit
Hartbeat has released a new short film, 'Dash of a Lifetime,' expanding the narrative of its Prime Video hit 'Livestream From Hell.' The film is a collaboration with DoorDash.
Hartbeat, the global comedy company founded by Kevin Hart, has premiered 'Dash of a Lifetime,' an original short film set within the world of its recent Prime Video horror-comedy, 'Livestream From Hell.' The film extends the narrative of the original feature.
Produced in partnership with DoorDash, 'Dash of a Lifetime' stars comedian Kam Patterson, reprising his role from 'Livestream From Hell.' Patterson plays a Dasher whose deliveries to a mansion draw him into the events of the night. DoorDash is integrated into the storyline through this active character, rather than through traditional product placement.
The short film is now available on LOL Network and Kam Patterson's YouTube channels. It follows the same character through the same night, offering a different perspective. 'Livestream From Hell,' which premiered on Prime Video on September 30, was inspired by a livestream featuring Hart, Kai Cenat, and Druski.
Hartbeat focuses on creating content that connects people through comedy and builds community. Collaborations with brands like DoorDash allow for narrative expansion and engagement with new audiences in culturally relevant ways.
