HARTING Expands Americas Manufacturing on 40th Anniversary
Connectivity solutions provider HARTING is significantly expanding its U.S. and Mexico production and R&D facilities to bolster regional supply chains following strong year-over-year growth.
HARTING Technologiegruppe, a global supplier of connectivity solutions for industrial applications, announced a major expansion of its Americas manufacturing operations, including research and development. The move coincides with the company's 40th anniversary in the U.S. and aims to strengthen regional supply chains.
The expansion is driven by a 33% year-over-year growth in the Americas and 17% global growth. HARTING is investing in its Illinois headquarters and facilities, as well as expanding operations in Mexico, to enhance localized engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain capabilities.
This investment includes upgrades to production floors, expanded warehouse capacity, and new automated assembly lines. The company plans to increase its U.S. headcount by 64% and significantly grow its workforce in Mexico. The project, initiated in October 2025, aims to reduce lead times and improve flexibility for industrial customers.
HARTING states that the expansion supports its growth strategy and reinforces its commitment to American manufacturing. The company aims to address challenges such as supply chain disruptions and the increasing demand for digitization and electrification in the industrial sector.
