HARTING Joins NVIDIA MGX Ecosystem for AI Infrastructure Connectivity
HARTING Technologiegruppe will supply high-power connection solutions for NVIDIA's Vera Rubin NVL72 platform, supporting advanced 800 VDC architectures for AI data centers.
HARTING Technologiegruppe has joined the NVIDIA MGX ecosystem, providing high-power connection solutions for NVIDIA's Vera Rubin NVL72 platform. This collaboration aims to address the growing power demands of artificial intelligence (AI) data centers and the shift towards 800 VDC architectures.
HARTING will supply "Power Whip" cable assemblies, designed to distribute power from the building's electrical system to each server rack. These solutions are engineered to meet the increasing power consumption requirements of AI factories and support both 480 VAC and 800 VDC power architectures within NVIDIA's MGX framework. As AI utilization and computational intensity rise, data centers face the challenge of managing significantly more energy in confined spaces.
"AI is fundamentally changing data center infrastructure. HARTING possesses the technical expertise to enable this transformation," stated Philip Harting, CEO of HARTING Technologiegruppe. "Within the NVIDIA MGX ecosystem, we can leverage our decades of experience from high-current applications in sectors like rail transport and the automotive industry. Together, we are enabling the infrastructure that will support the next generation of artificial intelligence."
At the OCP Global Summit 2026, HARTING showcased its 100A/480VAC Power Whip solution for the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72, alongside a next-generation 157A/800 VDC DC-DC cable assembly. These solutions connect the power infrastructure to compute racks, ensuring reliability, safety, and scalability for these demanding environments.
