HARTING to Launch New Generation of Configurators in April 2026

HARTING Technologiegruppe is set to release a new generation of its product configurators in April 2026. These updated digital tools are designed to enhance the process of specifying connectivity solutions, promising greater speed, ease of use, and transparency for customers and partners.

The company has offered configurators for many years, which have historically assisted users in quickly and accurately selecting reliable connection solutions. The upcoming generation aims to build upon this established functionality by refining daily workflows and improving decision-making capabilities, particularly for complex configurations.

Initially, the new configurators will cover industrial connectors with high-power options, circular connectors, M12 system cabling, and har-modular® PCB connectors. Key improvements focus on accelerating the configuration workflow, increasing transparency through enhanced visualization and data insights, and providing a more modern, intuitive user interface.

A phased transition is planned. Both the current and new configurators will be available concurrently until mid-May 2026, after which the older versions will be deactivated. Configurations created with the previous generation will remain accessible for viewing and documentation purposes via the myHARTING portal from June 2026 onwards, but will not be loadable into the new configurator system. HARTING states that the new configurators represent a significant advancement in digital product configuration, setting new benchmarks for usability, transparency, and performance in the industry.
