Haumberger enhances small series production with proALPHA ERP
Austrian manufacturer Haumberger Fertigungstechnik GmbH has optimized its production of prototypes and special machines using the proALPHA ERP system, improving process control and data accuracy.
Haumberger Fertigungstechnik GmbH, based in Judenau, Austria, specializes in producing high-precision components and assemblies for sectors like aerospace and hydrogen technology. The company, which primarily manufactures small series with a maximum of 1,000 units per batch, has significantly automated and digitalized its production processes.
A key component of this transformation has been the implementation of the proALPHA ERP solution, in use since 2008. The system's Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) tool optimizes the utilization of 14 machines and over 30 employees by precisely planning and controlling production orders. This ensures flexible and efficient production, even with highly varying part specifications.
Furthermore, the proALPHA Analyzer business intelligence tool aids Haumberger in monitoring and analyzing complex data, supporting well-founded decisions in production planning, purchasing, and supplier evaluation.
