Haver & Boecker Automates Production with Digital System
Haver & Boecker's subsidiary QUAT²RO has supplied a digital system solution to KLB Kötztal, enhancing production efficiency and quality control.

Haver & Boecker OHG, along with its subsidiaries Sommer Maschinen- und Anlagenbau and QUAT²RO, has delivered a digital system solution to KLB Kötztal Lacke + Beschichtungen GmbH. The solution aims to optimize the company's production processes through automation and digitalization.
The construction of a new coating facility began in August 2016, handled by Haver & Boecker's subsidiary Sommer. QUAT²RO's role involved integrating and automating the new facility's operations. The system focuses on precise and reproducible management of mixing processes, alongside centralized monitoring and easy operation of all plant components.
QUAT²RO's batch management system, QUAT²RO® Batch, enables the handling of complex mixing processes for both bulk solids and liquids. The solution was customized for KLB Kötztal's specific requirements, addressing the weighing and transport of various raw materials from silos, tanks, and barrels to the mixer. The system ensures consistent product quality and traceability.
Additionally, QUAT²RO® Process Visualization provides a graphical interface for monitoring and controlling the plant's status. Integration with the company's ERP system optimizes the entire supply chain, from order management to logistics. The objective is to improve machine utilization, save resources, and minimize errors.
