Haver & Boecker offers testing for lightweight material packing

Haver & Boecker OHG, a manufacturer specializing in packing machinery, is providing customers the opportunity to conduct filling tests with its Pump-Packer system. These tests focus on the energy-efficient and cost-effective packaging of lightweight materials, with the company opening its own facility's testing capacity for applications.

The Pump-Packer is suited for products with low densities, ranging from 20 to 300 g/l, including materials such as silicates, resins, pigments, carbon blacks, and aluminum oxides. The machine can fill a variety of paper and plastic bags without requiring changes to bag size or material type. Haver & Boecker offers the Pump-Packer in both enclosed INTEGRA® and stationary ELEMENTRA® configurations.

Standard equipment includes a double diaphragm pump for accurate weight control and an integrated bag forming unit that creates compact fills for easy handling. Automatic bag height adjustment and continuous monitoring of filling pressure contribute to an optimized packing process.

Beyond standard features, Haver & Boecker offers optional equipment and service packages for process optimization. Digital monitoring and analysis systems provide real-time insights for enhancing efficiency. The company's BESPOKE concept offers tailored packaging solutions and comprehensive process consulting, aiming to maximize performance, availability, and weight accuracy.
