Hawaii Department of Corrections selects Findhelp for digital referral system
The Hawaii Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is adopting Findhelp's platform to automate service referrals and improve reintegration outcomes for incarcerated individuals.

The Hawaii Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (HDCR) has partnered with Austin-based Findhelp to deploy a digital infrastructure aimed at streamlining service referrals across its correctional facilities. The initiative connects field staff and community organizations across all four counties to manage care delivery for individuals in state custody.
The platform is designed to consolidate the referral process, which was previously fragmented, to alleviate the administrative burden on caseworkers. By digitizing these workflows, the department aims to provide faster access to housing, health services, and employment support for those transitioning out of the correctional system.
This modernization effort is part of a broader strategy by the department to improve post-release outcomes. Findhelp’s technology will allow for centralized tracking of service delivery, ensuring that community partners are better integrated into the reentry planning process.
