HCLTech and Guardian Announce Expanded Partnership for AI-Driven Modernization
HCLTech and Guardian Life Insurance have signed a seven-year agreement that expands their collaboration to advance AI-driven modernization of the company's technology and operations.

Global technology company HCLTech has entered into a seven-year agreement with The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. This new agreement extends a previous partnership and aims to advance Guardian's technological and operational modernization through artificial intelligence to support long-term business growth.
The collaboration seeks to accelerate value creation and enhance Guardian's efficiency by delivering differentiated experiences and reducing friction. HCLTech will develop AI-based solutions and create intellectual property for the insurance sector. The partnership also includes HCLTech accelerating technological transformation and talent reskilling in data, applications, and engineering, while improving operational excellence across group benefits, individual protection, retirement, and wealth management.
HCLTech will leverage its AI Force platform to create and deploy autonomous capabilities for Guardian, further advancing AI adoption and innovation. These capabilities will be integrated into Guardian's product operating model to build a more resilient delivery infrastructure capable of scaling with the business.
As part of the expanded partnership, HCLTech will acquire Guardian India, a global competence center. Approximately 2,000 employees will join HCLTech to form a dedicated strategic unit focused on driving Guardian's technological innovation, technical excellence, and operational transformation.
