HCLTech Reports 3% Revenue Growth and Record $2.4 Billion in New Orders
Technology firm HCLTech announced a strong first quarter with revenue reaching $3.65 billion. The company also revealed significant investments planned for AI data centers.

New York and Noida, India – Technology company HCLTech today announced its financial results for the first quarter ending June 30, 2026. Revenue in US dollars was $3.65 billion, a 3% increase year-over-year. The company secured a record $2.4 billion in net new contract value during the quarter.
CEO C. Vijayakumar highlighted that the strong performance, particularly the 62.1% year-over-year growth in its Advanced AI business segment, demonstrates client trust in HCLTech's ability to drive AI-powered transformations. Growth was notably supported by IT and Enterprise Services, which saw revenue increase by 4.2% on a comparable basis.
HCLTech also revealed plans to invest up to 3,500 crore rupees (approximately $370 million) in building AI data centers. These facilities are intended to have a capacity of up to 50 MW and will leverage the company's expertise in AI data center design, DevOps, and cloud operations.
The company reaffirmed its outlook for fiscal year 2027, projecting a revenue growth of 1% to 4% and an EBIT margin between 17.5% and 18.5%. HCLTech also declared a dividend of 12 rupees per share for the quarter.
