HD+ integrates with selected Loewe televisions
HD+ TV app now available on select Loewe televisions. A software update brings HD broadcasts and additional features directly to the TV without extra hardware.
HD PLUS GmbH announced on September 13, 2022, that its HD+ TV app is now integrated into selected Loewe television models. The update applies to the Loewe bild i, Loewe bild c, and We. SEE model families, all built on the Loewe Chassis SL7 platform. This integration enables the reception of private HD channels and the use of new HD+ features without the need for separate set-top boxes or additional hardware.
The integration occurs via an automatic software update over the internet. Users can test the HD+ service and its "comfort features," such as restarting programs and enhanced search functions, for a six-month free period. The service provides access to private HD and UHD channels.
"The integration of the HD+ TV app into more and more televisions for satellite reception enables a great TV experience. It is particularly convenient to combine TV programs with online content without media breaks," said Andreas Schulz, Head of Product Management at HD+. He emphasized that this offers consumers an easy way to try the service risk-free.
Loewe's televisions are characterized by high-quality manufacturing and German design. With the HD+ TV app, the company enhances the user experience by adding convenience and a wider selection of channels. The Loewe bild i, bild c, and We. SEE models now support HD+ integration through the HbbTV Operator App standard.
The six-month free trial period requires no registration. Extending the HD+ service after the trial period can be easily purchased in stores or through the HD+ online shop.
