HD+ IP Service Now Available on Samsung TVs
HD+ is expanding its IP service to Samsung TV devices through a software update. This allows users to receive HD+ content via internet streaming, independent of satellite reception.

HD PLUS GmbH is broadening the availability of its IP service by making it accessible on Samsung televisions. Through a software update scheduled for mid-year, 2022 Samsung Smart TV models will gain the HD+ IP streaming capability.
This expansion allows users to access over 80 HD channels, including private and public broadcasters, without needing a satellite dish. HD+ IP is positioned as an ideal solution for households without satellite reception, potentially reaching up to 38 million TV households in Germany.
The HD+ IP service offers features such as program restart and integrated access to media libraries, alongside live TV. A stable internet connection of at least 6 Mbit/s is required for the service. Previously, HD+ launched its IP offering on Panasonic TVs in early 2022.
The service is available for a monthly fee of six euros or via a 12-month prepaid voucher. HD+ continues to offer its traditional satellite service, which includes access to UHD channels.
