HD PLUS GmbH has expanded its offering with a new channel package named "Fernsehen mit Herz" (Television with Heart). This new bundle, available since July 31, 2026, brings together three specialized channels: Romance TV, Heimatkanal, and GoldStar TV. The offering targets viewers interested in romantic films, home-grown stories, and popular German music.
The "Fernsehen mit Herz" package is priced at €4.99 per month, with a flexible monthly cancellation policy. HD+ is offering the first month free as a trial period. The service is accessible to all users of the HD+ TV app, regardless of a prior HD+ subscription. Initially, the package is supported on Samsung and Panasonic televisions, with plans to expand compatibility to other manufacturers.
The content within the package covers a diverse range of programming. Romance TV focuses on romantic movies and series, featuring titles like "Inga Lindström" and "Rosamunde Pilcher." Heimatkanal offers German film classics and regional dramas, including the "Sissi Trilogy" and "Der Bergdoktor." GoldStar TV is dedicated to German-language schlager music, presenting concerts and entertainment shows.
Christoph Mühleib, CEO of HD PLUS GmbH, stated that the new package addresses a viewer demand for emotional television experiences. Tim Werner, CEO of Mainstream Media AG, added that the availability through HD+ allows the channels to reach a wider audience seeking relaxing entertainment and familiar narratives. The "Fernsehen mit Herz" package can be subscribed to via the HD+ webshop.
