HD PLUS GmbH has rebranded its mobile offering, previously known as HD+ ToGo, to HD+ MultiScreen. The enhanced service now allows customers to watch HD+ content on up to three devices concurrently, including televisions, smartphones, and tablets, with support for Apple Airplay and Google Chromecast. The monthly subscription price has been reduced from €5 to €3.

HD+ MultiScreen provides access to approximately 100 HD channels and includes new features such as restarting programs already in progress and a soon-to-be-available pause function. Users can log in directly to a TV device using their HD+ IP credentials to utilize one of the three simultaneous streams. The service is also accessible within EU countries.

In addition to the new name and pricing, HD+ MultiScreen features a revised user interface with improved search capabilities. Access to HD+ MultiScreen requires an existing HD+ subscription. The company noted that older bundled products will continue to be sold at their previous pricing for a period, with a new voucher for the extended service set to launch in the autumn.

HD PLUS GmbH, a subsidiary of satellite operator SES, provides access to high-definition television and related services in Germany via satellite and IP. The company expanded its distribution through IP-based services in 2021.
