HealthConnect One, a national organization focused on birth equity, has appointed Brenda Reyes to the newly created position of Senior Advisor for Global Maternal & Child Health Policy. The organization, which is celebrating its 40th year, is extending its community-based approach to global health policy.
Reyes' appointment is intended to bolster HealthConnect One's efforts to influence international health policies and advocate for birth equity on a global scale. She is scheduled to attend the 15th Anniversary ROSE and ROBE Breastfeeding & Birth Justice Summit in New Orleans from August 26 to 29.
This role is expected to leverage Reyes' expertise to guide the organization's international strategy and partnerships. HealthConnect One aims to utilize this expanded focus to address disparities in maternal and child health outcomes worldwide.
