Healthtech firm Clinics On Cloud raises $12.5 million for global expansion
Pune-based Clinics On Cloud secured $12.5 million in Series A funding to scale its AI-driven 'health ATM' technology and expand operations into international markets.

Clinics On Cloud, a manufacturer of portable diagnostic units and AI-powered health ATMs, has raised ₹120 Cr ($12.5 million) in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Model42, the medtech investment arm of UAE-based Enlightened Minds Investments, valuing the Indian startup at approximately ₹600 Cr ($63.3 million).
The company intends to allocate the capital toward enhancing its AI-driven diagnostic capabilities, increasing manufacturing capacity, and expanding its R&D efforts. A portion of the funds will support the firm’s goal of positioning the UAE as a hub for its global expansion into the US, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
Founded in 2018, the startup develops modular micro-clinics and mobile medical units designed to facilitate preventive health screenings and telemedicine. These units are currently utilized by government agencies, including segments of the Indian military. To date, the company reports over 3,500 deployments across India and seven international markets, conducting screenings for more than 12 million patients.
This funding reflects a broader trend of investor interest in AI-integrated health technology within India, a market expected to reach $37 billion by 2030. CEO Abhay Agarwal stated that the capital serves to facilitate the company’s objective of increasing the reach of its point-of-care medical infrastructure.
