Hedin US Motor Launches Ford F-150 in Austria
Hedin US Motor is expanding its Ford F-150 sales into Austria, making the pickup truck available in eight European countries. Deliveries are expected to commence in August.
Gothenburg, Sweden – Hedin US Motor, the official and exclusive European distributor of the Ford F-150, has launched the popular pickup truck in Austria. This expansion brings the F-150's availability to eight European countries, including Sweden, Germany, and the Netherlands.
In Austria, sales and service will be handled by PEICHER Automotive, a specialist dealership located near Graz that focuses on US vehicles. The company is currently undergoing the necessary vehicle inspections and certifications required for the Austrian market, with deliveries anticipated to begin shortly. Hedin US Motor announced that customer deliveries are expected to commence from August 2024.
PEICHER Automotive will offer the F-150 in various configurations for the Austrian market. Available models include the XLT and Lariat with a 5.0-liter V8 gasoline engine, the Limited with a 3.5-liter V6 hybrid powertrain, and the Raptor version featuring a 456 horsepower twin-turbo V6 engine. Customers will have the option to purchase vehicles outright or through leasing arrangements.
Hedin US Motor emphasizes that as the official distributor, the F-150 undergoes homologation according to Ford of Europe's certified standards and is mass-produced in Bremerhaven, Germany. This process ensures the vehicles comply with European laws and requirements. Furthermore, spare parts and service will be available through the official Ford F-150 network, providing assurance and facilitating vehicle maintenance, particularly for commercial users.
