Heintz Performance Inc. has acquired Woodward Machine Corporation, a NASCAR steering supplier, in a deal advised by Viking Mergers & Acquisitions. The transaction unites longtime industry partners.

CONCORD, N.C. – Heintz Performance Inc. has acquired Woodward Machine Corporation, a key supplier of steering systems for NASCAR racing. The transaction was facilitated by Viking Mergers & Acquisitions.
Founded in 1978, Woodward Machine Corporation specializes in the design and custom manufacturing of precision power steering racks, steering components, and suspension links for motorsports. The company has served as the exclusive steering supplier to the NASCAR Cup Series since 1995.
Tony Woodward, former owner of Woodward Machine, expressed pride in the company's history and gratitude to its employees and customers. Scott Heintz, owner of Heintz Performance, stated the company aims to continue Woodward's legacy and invest in its capabilities and relationships.
Woodward Machine Corporation will continue operations in Casper, Wyoming, under the new name WMC Manufacturing LLC. The acquisition is expected to leverage Heintz Performance's industry experience and sales expertise while maintaining existing customer relationships and pursuing growth opportunities. Heintz Performance will focus on expanding its inventory and customer service in the Concord and Charlotte areas.
