Heise Conference to Focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) in Business

Heise Gruppe will host an online conference on March 19th, delving into the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into the business world. The event will highlight how AI agents can manage complex tasks and how multimodal models, capable of processing text, images, and tables, can enhance data extraction beyond purely text-based approaches.

The conference, organized by iX and dpunkt.verlag, will feature presentations on the fundamentals and trends of LLMs, building stable AI agents, and implementing multimodal extraction pipelines for intricate documents. Discussions will also address the secure deployment of advanced AI agents, practical experiences with self-hosting AI clusters for productive operations, and data privacy considerations for LLM usage.

The conference aims to provide insights into how AI agents can take over workflows, how LLMs facilitate data extraction, and how models can be efficiently operated within an organization's own data centers. An early bird ticket price of €279 (excluding VAT) is available until February 25th. A separate workshop on fine-tuning LLMs will be held on October 30th for €579.

The organizers also offer a newsletter subscription for those wishing to stay informed about the Minds Mastering Machines events and related theme days.
