Heise Gruppe to Host Keycloak IAM and SSO Workshop
Heise Gruppe is offering a three-day online workshop focused on implementing identity and access management (IAM) and single sign-on (SSO) using Keycloak. The course targets IT professionals.

Heise Gruppe is launching a three-day online workshop starting in June 2026, designed to provide in-depth knowledge of Keycloak for identity and access management (IAM) and single sign-on (SSO). The training is aimed at IT professionals seeking to implement Keycloak solutions within their organizations.
The workshop will cover the setup, configuration, and integration of Keycloak as an identity provider for existing applications and services. Participants will gain insight into Keycloak's architecture and core IAM concepts, with a hands-on approach to configuration and integration scenarios. The program also includes an examination of the built-in One-Time Password (OTP) functionality, supporting soft tokens and a self-service configuration portal.
All practical exercises will take place in a browser-based learning environment, allowing participants to actively configure and test Keycloak's features. The course emphasizes practical application, enabling attendees to not only understand but also implement and test various functions. It focuses on building and securely operating IAM structures in realistic scenarios.
Led by trainer Tilman Kranz, who possesses extensive experience in directory and identity systems, the workshop will share practical insights from real-world projects. Class sizes are capped at 12 participants to ensure intensive interaction. Additional sessions are scheduled for September and December 2026.
