HELI-D, the company behind the world's largest flying digital screen, made its New York City debut on October 13, introducing a new form of aerial digital advertising to one of the world's largest media markets. The debut featured two flights, one in partnership with the Digital Place Based Advertising Association (DPAA) and another showcasing content from Byron Allen's Allen Media Group.
The afternoon flight took place along the Hudson River, passing landmarks such as Chelsea Piers and the Statue of Liberty, allowing attendees of the DPAA's Global Video Everywhere Summit and the public to witness the large-scale digital display in operation.
The evening flight highlighted a new partnership with Allen Media Group, marking a significant step for HELI-D's entry into the U.S. advertising market. The technology offers mobile, large-scale digital displays capable of reaching audiences in high-visibility locations and at major events, differentiating itself from traditional static billboards.
HELI-D positions its aerial display technology as a new addition to the digital out-of-home advertising landscape, enabling brands to deliver dynamic content above prominent destinations and events. The company states it operates in the UAE, Australia, and now the United States, with existing partnerships including Microsoft, TAB, and Netflix.
