Hemsö launches 700 million euro commercial paper program
Real estate firm Hemsö has established a 700 million euro commercial paper program to diversify its short-term funding sources.

Swedish real estate company Hemsö has launched a 700 million euro commercial paper (ECP) program. The initiative is designed to complement the company's existing domestic Swedish funding activities and long-term debt facilities.
Group Treasurer Carl-Johan Strandberg stated that the move allows Hemsö to tap into a wider international investor base. Given that a significant portion of Hemsö’s assets and operations are located within the euro area, the company views euro-denominated short-term funding as a strategic alignment with its current portfolio.
The establishment of the ECP program follows a trend among major Nordic firms to seek deeper liquidity in international capital markets. Hemsö, which specializes in public infrastructure properties, aims to use this facility to optimize its short-term financing structure.
