Hennick Humber Hospital (HHH) in Mississauga, Ontario, has contracted with Swedish medical imaging IT company Sectra for its Sectra One Cloud solution. The cloud-based enterprise imaging service aims to accelerate patient diagnostics by improving radiology workflows and IT operations at the hospital.
The multiyear contract, signed in the first quarter of Sectra's 2026/2027 fiscal year, is expected to cover an annual volume of over 250,000 imaging exams. The solution will initially be deployed across HHH's radiology and breast imaging departments. Sectra One Cloud is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering that Sectra manages and continuously upgrades, reducing the hospital's IT burden while ensuring high availability and scalability.
HHH, part of Humber River Health, is identified as North America's first fully digital hospital. The adoption of Sectra's cloud solution is part of the hospital’s initiative to strengthen its digital infrastructure and enhance patient safety. The solution is expected to streamline access and sharing of imaging data and foster collaboration among care teams for faster and more accurate diagnoses.
