Hexagon Agility receives largest mobile pipeline module order from Certarus for data center demand
Hexagon Agility has received its largest single order for Mobile Pipeline® modules to date from Certarus. The order is intended to service growing data center energy demand.
Norwegian company Hexagon Agility, a subsidiary of Hexagon Composites, has received its largest single order for Mobile Pipeline® modules. Certarus, a North American leader in mobile compressed natural gas (CNG) solutions, placed the order to support the increasing energy demands of data centers.
The value of the order and the specific number of modules were not disclosed. Hexagon Agility specializes in the manufacturing of high-pressure gas storage and transportation systems. The Mobile Pipeline® system allows for the efficient transport and distribution of CNG to locations not served by traditional gas pipelines.
Certarus plans to utilize these mobile solutions primarily for industrial applications, including data centers. Data centers require a continuous and reliable power supply, and natural gas offers an alternative fuel source. The delivery of this order is expected by the end of 2026.
Hexagon Agility has previously supplied similar systems to markets in North America and Europe. The company's technology enables gas distribution for various sectors, including mining, oil, and gas. This order reinforces the company's position in the mobile gas transportation solutions market.
