Hexagon has completed the acquisition of Waygate Technologies from Baker Hughes. The move expands Hexagon's capabilities in the industrial non-destructive testing (NDT) sector.
Waygate Technologies specializes in industrial radiography, computed tomography, remote visual inspection, and ultrasonic imaging. The acquired entity maintains a workforce of approximately 1,500 people across 25 global locations and reported revenues of roughly 630 million USD.
By integrating Waygate’s 130-year history in inspection technologies, Hexagon aims to bolster its suite of diagnostic tools for manufacturers. This acquisition positions the company to provide more comprehensive testing and quality assurance solutions in demanding industrial environments.
