Hillphoenix has launched the Advansor FlexONE CO2 condensing unit, designed for food retail and industrial applications. The new unit utilizes natural refrigerant to reduce reliance on synthetic alternatives.
Downers Grove, Ill. – Hillphoenix, part of Dover Food Retail, has introduced its Advansor FlexONE™ CO2 condensing unit. This compact refrigeration solution is engineered for food retail and industrial markets, aiming to decrease the use of synthetic refrigerants.
The unit's introduction supports a shift away from synthetic refrigerants, which face increasing cost uncertainties and regulatory challenges. The Advansor FlexONE is particularly suited for small to medium-format supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies, and industrial cold storage facilities. It can be utilized for new installations as well as upgrades to existing systems.
The new condensing unit employs natural CO2 refrigerant, known for its very low global warming potential. Its compact size allows for installation in space-constrained areas and on rooftops. The system is described as energy-efficient due to variable-speed compressor technology that adjusts cooling capacity based on demand.
Hillphoenix also highlights the unit's serviceability, featuring easily removable panels, organized piping, and accessible service points. The unit is designed to operate reliably even in high ambient temperatures exceeding 100°F (38°C) and is available in various voltage configurations to facilitate integration with existing electrical systems.
