Hilti Cordless Core Drill DD 110-U-22 Wins NECA Showstopper Award

Hilti North America has received a 2026 NECA Showstopper Award for its DD 110-U-22 cordless core drill. The tool is noted for its ability to enhance contractor mobility, reduce setup time, and increase productivity on job sites.

The award-winning DD 110-U-22 drill operates on Hilti's Nuron battery platform, enabling cord-free operation for coring concrete, reinforced concrete, masonry, and asphalt. The unit can be used both handheld and with a drill stand.

The tool features electronic gear technology that optimizes drilling performance across various diameters, along with Active Torque Control (ATC) for enhanced user safety in handheld applications. An integrated oscillation function assists in removing stuck cores.

The NECA Showstopper Award is presented annually to the most innovative products in the construction industry. Hilti was among 25 recipients selected from nearly 200 entries. The awards were presented at the NECA Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas.
