Hilton has opened the 210-room Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi, marking the Curio Collection by Hilton brand's debut in Hawaii. Located overlooking Nāwiliwili Bay and Kalapakī Beach, the resort offers contemporary design, locally inspired dining, and cultural programming.

Hilton has announced the opening of Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi, a 210-room resort under its Curio Collection by Hilton brand. This opening signifies the brand's first property in Hawaii, situated on Kauaʻi island overlooking Nāwiliwili Bay and adjacent to Kalapakī Beach. The resort aims to provide guests with a distinctive experience through its contemporary design, destination-driven dining options, and curated cultural programming.
Hale Hōkūala, meaning "House of the Rising Star," is part of the Hōkūala Resort community. The property features 23 suites, open-air spaces, and private lanais offering views of the Pacific Ocean and Hāʻupu Mountain. A key component is the "E Ala Ka Pilina" (The Awakening of Connection) cultural immersion program, developed in collaboration with local practitioners and community organizations.
The resort's design, by Hart Howerton and AHL with interiors by Looney & Associates, blends modern comfort with the island's natural setting. Guest rooms incorporate floor-to-ceiling windows and private lanais, while the interior design draws inspiration from the island's colors and textures, with artwork reflecting local heritage.
Dining at Hale Hōkūala includes Figueira, the signature restaurant offering a Portuguese-Hawaiian concept with views of the Ocean Course at Hōkūala. Additionally, The Wiliwili provides a casual poolside setting with local specialties and tropical beverages. Both culinary concepts were developed in partnership with Hilton's internal food and beverage consultancy, aiming to capture the essence of local culinary traditions and island lifestyle.
