HINABI and HINA.BAND Announce New Cinematic Pop-Rock Album

London-based vocalist and author HINABI is preparing to release her unreleased cinematic pop-rock record, VOL II: KURATA, with her band HINA.BAND. The music is slated for rollout soon, with the artist inviting listeners to be among the first to experience her new sound.

The album centers on a belief in true love as something built together. In an era characterized by quick connections, HINABI's record aims to advocate for commitment and enduring relationships. HINABI, also known as Hina, is recognized for her powerful vocals and ability to convey emotion, both in song and spoken word.

HINA.BAND consists of drummer and band leader Dylan Youles and bassist Krzysztof "Kaye" Syposz. Youles, who holds a First Class Honours from ICMP, described his role as creating a "backdrop and atmosphere" to support HINABI's vision, allowing her story and emotions to resonate authentically. Syposz contributes elements of "quirkiness" and "funkiness," with the band's music creating melodies described as both beautiful and heartbreaking.

VOL II: KURATA is being produced by Los Angeles-based producer DK (Do Hyun Kim), who has credits on over 190 K-pop, pop, and EDM projects. Post-production and mastering are handled by Stephen DeAcutis, known for his work with artists like Cyndi Lauper. HINABI's upcoming single, "RENEGADE," is characterized as a particularly poignant pop-rock song, with HINA.BAND building the musical arrangement around HINABI's vocal performance.
