HiringThing Integrates AI-Powered Interviewing Tools via HireKo.ai

Recruitment platform HiringThing has announced a new integration with HireKo.ai, an artificial intelligence platform designed to conduct conversational video interviews. This tool allows employers to automate the initial stages of candidate screening directly through their existing applicant tracking system (ATS).

When a candidate applies, the AI-driven system conducts an interview, evaluates the responses against specific job requirements, and provides an objective score and summary to the hiring team. The goal is to reduce the administrative burden of scheduling first-round interviews while maintaining a structured evaluation process.

HiringThing VP of Product Colette Luke stated that the tool aims to assist teams handling large volumes of applicants. By outsourcing initial conversations to AI, recruiters can dedicate more time to final-stage candidates. Vijay Reddy, CEO of HireKo.ai, noted that the platform is intended to help hiring managers look past resume polish to identify the most qualified fits through direct interaction.

The integration is now live within the HiringThing marketplace, aimed at streamlining the hiring process for the company's partners and clients.
