Electronics manufacturer Hisense announced new display technologies designed to improve the viewing experience for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The company is integrating its RGB MiniLED technology with Dolby Vision 2.

QINGDAO, China – Hisense, an electronics manufacturer and official sponsor of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has announced innovations aimed at enhancing the fan experience during the tournament. The company's latest premium TV technologies are designed to deliver a more realistic and immersive viewing experience for football matches.
The new Hisense televisions will feature the company's proprietary RGB MiniLED technology. This technology offers independent control of red, green, and blue light sources, which Hisense states leads to improved brightness, richer color reproduction, and higher image precision. The goal is to provide clearer images of on-field action, from fast plays to decisive moments.
Additionally, Hisense is integrating Dolby Vision 2 into its new premium TV lineup. Developed to meet evolving television viewing demands, Dolby Vision 2 utilizes Dolby's next-generation Image Engine, Content Intelligence, and Authentic Motion. This integration aims to present content more vividly and accurately, dynamically adjusting the picture for optimal viewing.
These technological advancements are intended to help viewers experience the intensity and atmosphere of the game more acutely. Hisense has previously been recognized as the world's largest supplier of TVs sized 100 inches and above in 2023.
