Hisense Enhances Sensory Inclusivity at 2026 FIFA World Cup
Hisense is collaborating with FIFA and KultureCity to create more sensory-friendly experiences at all 16 host cities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The initiative provides quiet spaces for sensitive fans.

Electronics manufacturer Hisense is working to make the 2026 FIFA World Cup more inclusive by implementing sensory-friendly solutions. The company is partnering with FIFA and the organization KultureCity to ensure that fans with sensory sensitivities, including individuals with autism, can enjoy the tournament more comfortably.
As part of this initiative, Hisense will deploy mobile sensory vehicles and dedicated sensory rooms in commercial areas at stadium entrances across all host cities. These spaces are designed to offer fans a retreat from the stadium's intense atmosphere and noise, helping them manage sensory overload. Hisense's premium displays will feature calming ambient visuals.
Hisense has also provided opportunities for families with sensory needs to attend World Cup matches in a more accessible environment. One participant described how a love for football had been challenging due to sensory needs, but the new provisions have been beneficial.
Uma Srivastava, Executive Director of KultureCity, views Hisense's technology as a bridge between stadium intensity and fans' need for calm. "Hisense televisions present serene visual content. Hisense's advanced technology provides a clear and balanced image designed to support relaxation and sensory regulation," she stated.
The initiative is part of Hisense's broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments, aiming to use innovation to create more accessible and meaningful experiences for communities worldwide. This project also supports the company's vision of "Innovation for a better life" by bringing people together through shared moments.
