Hisense Establishes Sensory Spaces for FIFA World Cup 2026 Fans

Consumer electronics company Hisense is collaborating with FIFA and KultureCity to enhance accessibility for fans with sensory sensitivities during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The initiative will see dedicated sensory spaces and mobile units available across all 16 host cities.

The program aims to make match days more comfortable for attendees who may be overwhelmed by the stadium environment. Mobile sensory vehicles sponsored by Hisense will be stationed near stadium entrances, while quiet rooms will be set up in commercial exhibition areas. These designated areas will offer a calm environment for fans to take a break and manage sensory stimuli.

Hisense's premium displays will be utilized within these spaces to broadcast calming, ambient visuals. This effort aligns with Hisense's broader environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments, focusing on using innovation to create more inclusive and enriching experiences for communities worldwide.

Uma Srivastava, Executive Director of KultureCity, highlighted how the technology serves as a bridge between the stadium's excitement and fans' need for tranquility, ensuring a more welcoming experience for all attendees.
