Qingdao, China – Hisense, a consumer electronics and home appliance brand, has launched its new PureSmart Duo refrigerator series, integrating artificial intelligence features into the kitchen. The line is part of the company's Social Kitchen concept, aiming to transform the kitchen into a social gathering space through technology.
The new series builds upon Hisense's AI Companion Suite solution, extending AI capabilities from individual devices to a whole-home system via the ConnectLife platform. The goal is to seamlessly connect home appliances, allowing AI to support daily activities more naturally.
The PureSmart Duo refrigerators feature, among other things, a 21-inch smart display offering access to recipes and entertainment content through the VIDDA platform. The system also includes UV water purification and specialized ice production. The kitchen's function expands beyond meal preparation to shared experiences with family and friends.
Hisense emphasizes that the AI Companion Suite is more than a collection of smart devices; it is technology designed to create enjoyable shared spaces. The company views the kitchen as a natural place for people to connect, and AI aims to enhance this social dimension.
