Hisense Launches Four-Drum Washer for Clothes and Shoes
Hisense has introduced a multi-drum washing machine featuring separate compartments for clothes, underwear, and shoes. The "Big Mint 2.0 E5S" model aims to prevent cross-contamination with its independent water systems.
Chinese home appliance manufacturer Hisense has launched its "Big Mint 2.0 E5S" multi-drum washing machine, which includes a dedicated shoe washing function. The appliance, with a total capacity of 17 kg, has been available at promotional prices as low as 4,547 yuan, down from its original price of 7,498 yuan.
The machine features three distinct washing compartments: two small 1 kg wash-and-dry drums, designed for delicates like underwear and baby clothes, and a 3 kg shoe washing drum capable of holding up to size 45 shoes. A larger 12 kg wash/8 kg dry main drum handles general laundry.
Hisense states that all four water circuits within the machine are completely independent, preventing water and detergent from mixing between different wash cycles. This design is intended to enhance hygiene, particularly when washing shoes and clothing items in the same unit. The appliance also incorporates a condensation drying system.
The pricing and promotional details were observed on Chinese e-commerce platforms, where the machine was offered with significant discounts through coupons and trade-in offers during major sales events.
