Hisense Launches PureSmart Duo Refrigerator Series for Social Kitchens

Qingdao, China – Hisense, a global consumer electronics and home appliance brand, is launching its new PureSmart Duo refrigerator series worldwide. The aim is to integrate artificial intelligence directly into households and transform the kitchen into a social hub through its ConnectLife platform.

The new series builds upon Hisense's previously introduced AI Companion concept. Through this vision, PureSmart Duo seeks to seamlessly connect people, home appliances, and various experiences. The "Social Kitchen" concept utilizes technology not just to simplify cooking, but also as a center for entertainment and communication.

The four-door model in the PureSmart Duo series offers 611 liters of storage capacity and features an integrated 21-inch smart display. Via the screen, users can browse recipes, stream entertainment from the VIDDA platform, or watch television. The refrigerator also includes a UV light-based water purification system that eliminates 99.9% of bacteria.

According to Hisense, the new refrigerator series is designed to facilitate both everyday cooking and the organization of social gatherings. On weekends, families can plan meals together, and during parties, guests can use the Beverage Master function to prepare drinks with step-by-step instructions. Hisense emphasizes that the goal is to create deeper connections between people in the kitchen through technology.

Hisense was founded in 1969 and operates in over 180 countries. The company is among the world's largest manufacturers of large-format televisions.
