Hitachi, Ltd. announced the establishment of Hitachi Industrial Holdings Americas, Inc. on April 1, 2020, as part of its strategy to bolster its industry business in North America. The new entity will integrate operations from Sullair, LLC, a compressor business, and JR Automation Technologies, LLC, a robotic SI business, under a unified management structure.

Operating from Chicago, Hitachi Industrial Holdings Americas will serve as a strategic hub for the company's industry business across the continent. It will also collaborate with Hitachi Vantara LLC to expand digital solution offerings for the industry and distribution areas, utilizing the customer bases and resources of Sullair and JR Automation.
