HiTHIUM Enters Canadian Energy Storage Market
Energy storage manufacturer HiTHIUM has launched operations in Canada, introducing battery systems engineered for extreme cold climates.
HiTHIUM has officially expanded its business operations into Canada. The manufacturer is targeting the regional market with a portfolio that includes eight-hour battery energy storage systems (BESS) and sodium-ion technology.
The systems are specifically modified to operate in extreme cold, addressing a critical technical barrier for energy storage deployment in northern latitudes. This move aims to provide infrastructure capable of supporting grid stability as Canada continues its transition toward renewable energy sources.
Having reported over 200 GWh in cumulative shipments globally, HiTHIUM is entering a competitive North American sector. The expansion follows the company’s broader international growth strategy, focusing on scaling its manufacturing capacity to serve utility-scale projects in cold-weather regions.
