HKC releases 27-inch 2K 180Hz gaming monitor for 899 yuan
HKC has launched its new SG27QC "Falcon" gaming monitor, featuring a 27-inch 2K display with a 180Hz refresh rate. The monitor is available in China at a promotional price of 899 yuan.
Chinese technology firm HKC has introduced its latest gaming monitor, the SG27QC "Falcon." The display went on sale on July 3rd for a promotional price of 899 yuan (approximately $125 USD), down from its retail price of 1499 yuan.
The centerpiece of the monitor is a 27-inch curved HVA panel with a 2560x1440 (2K) resolution and a 180Hz refresh rate. HKC states the 1500R curvature is designed to match the human eye's field of vision, offering a more immersive gaming experience and improved sightline tracking. The high refresh rate aims to reduce motion blur and ghosting in fast-paced gameplay.
In terms of visual capabilities, the monitor supports 16.7 million colors and covers 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It also includes FreeSync and G-Sync compatibility to prevent screen tearing. The HKC SG27QC incorporates eye-care features such as a blue light filter and flicker-free technology. Gamers can select from four different crosshair options and save custom settings for quick access.
Connectivity options include HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, allowing connection to devices such as gaming consoles and laptops. The monitor features a three-sided narrow bezel design, with overall dimensions measuring 610mm by 472mm.
