Biotechnology firm HKeyBio has introduced HKEY-AI4AI-Atlas™ 1.0, an internal capability designed to organize and refine its extensive data on autoimmune and allergic disease models. The system employs AI-assisted data curation to manage accumulated experience in areas such as in vivo pharmacodynamics, pathology, and immune endpoints.
The atlas aims to enhance the selection of appropriate research models, improve the design of experimental endpoints, and facilitate cross-species interpretation of results. This capability is intended to support study design, model recommendations, and the planning of preclinical research for drug development.
HKeyBio states that the system helps to standardize model selection criteria, positive control response ranges, and the interpretability of data across different studies and species. This standardization is crucial for improving the reliability and consistency of preclinical research outcomes.
The data scope for HKEY-AI4AI-Atlas™ 1.0 includes HKeyBio's proprietary model validation data and methodology data, as well as authorized public literature. However, it explicitly excludes confidential client project data and any information that could compromise client pipelines.
Looking forward, HKeyBio suggests that insights derived from the atlas may be used to create external knowledge resources, such as white papers and model selection guides, without disclosing raw data.
